Gangga Island Resort

The Gangga Island Resort & Spa is based at the far end of the Island very close to Manado in North Sulawesi, Indonesia. Along the white sands under the shade of the coconut trees sits the fifteen wonderful natural wooden bungalows making up the resorts accommodation. This lovely position is surrounded by lush vegetation moving to the centre hill covered in green fauna and flora.

The transfer from Manado International Airport by our air conditioned vehicle will take around hour and takes you through the beautiful North Sulawesi countryside. Arrival at the dock means a quick transfer to the centres boat and transfer to the Island. Here the staff will welcome you and make sure you are settled in to your bungalow showing you the veranda and elegant bedroom that has air-conditioning, mini bar, satellite TV, bathroom and the all important tea and coffee making facilities.

Within the resort you can find the super Gangga Dive Center which is fully equipped to meet all your diving needs. Further along there is the sea water swimming pool, the Pasumng SPA, the main restaurant services both Western style and Indonesian dishes. The other Bamboo restaurant is far greater orientated towards serving fresh fishes dishes in full Polynesian style with the appropriate entertaining music, do try their famous Island Barbecue, something not to be missed.

Gangga is a super area to start your diving experience from, they boast more than 30 world class scuba diving locations around the Island giving a wide choice of variety of marine life in abundance to view. Dives at the Lembeh Strait, BunakenNational Marine Park (near Manado), as well as the Bangka Archipelago are to name but a few, you should try.
