What makes a really exciting dive? Well, what about Lava tubes, arches, huge craters like that of “Au Au Crater,” to name but a few are some of the wonders of an old sunken volcano. Hawaii’s Islands offer all of this and much much more.  


 

Diving with a camera is a delight as you become snap happy taking all the wonderful shots of  butterfly fish, , turtles, mantas, frogfish and superb subjects like that of the Spanish Dancer. However, patience is needed at all times.



 

The Kona Aggressor II scuba itinerary begins and finishes on the Saturday, in between there will be five and half days of fabulous diving. Guests being to board at later afternoon on the Saturday and is followed by an evening dinner and captains safety briefing.  Once the weeks dives are over the Friday the Kona Aggressor II will return to Kailua-Kona Bay for a cocktail party followed by a dinner onshore, this is the only meal not included in the charter. Saturday morning check-out is early at 8:00 a.m.


 

The Kona Aggressor II is a nicely designed yacht with a spacious, well designed dive deck which makes diving effortless.


 

All the crew are trained to assist the diver with anything they may need making sure of safety aspects at all times. Your gear will be stowed in special lockers along with any personal items. Camera tables with water rinse tanks and low pressure hoses are available for the diver along with Nitrox if needed; note there is an extra one off fee $100.


 

There are five staterooms each with very nice queen size bed and single bunk, all with private head and shower and climate control. The Quad stateroom is on the upper deck and has two full-sized berths, two single berths, a private head and shower again with complete climate control. Computer access is available in the saloon with Internet and Email facilities as well as a satellite phone  and entertainment centre. Over the stern we discover a hot tub with wet bar a small partially covered sun deck with loungers a BBQ area.

Saturday :
From  the Airport at Keahole you will be transferred to the Kailua Pier where you luggage and any equipment will be taken on board by the crew. At around 6pm the vessel will set sail for its first night anchorage where you will be served with a really delicious meal and enjoy a get to know the crew and a safety briefing from the Captain.



 

Sunday:


 

First Dive briefing! Begins on the  Sunday morning, up to five dives a day can be enjoyed by the Aggressor’s clients. All dives are made from the stern of the vessel and are supported by a crew member. Non divers may relax with some super snorkeling opportunities. Latterly after the dive you will be tempted by the chefs offerings of the day with some really wonderful meals on offer.  During the week weather permitting certain night dives will be available conditions permitting.


 


Monday through to Thursday:


 

Diving will move around weather permitting to various dive sites along the Big Island’s Western Coast line to such sites as Paradise Pinnacle, Tubestria Tunnel, The Hive, Turtle Pinnacle and Amphitheater. The Kona Aggressor II ventures far from the reach of daily operators for example to the beautiful South Point, the southernmost tip of Hawaii.


 

 
Friday:


 

After the last dive, the Kona Aggressor II returns to Kailua-Kona and at approximately 1:00 p.m. you can do some shopping or sightsee in Kona. The Captain and crew host an evening cocktail party at 5:00 p.m, after which a dinner on shore will be arranged, this is the only meal  not included in the charter.


 


Saturday Checkout:
Checkout time is 8:00 a.m. you are transferred to the airport. Please note you should schedule any airline departures after 9:30 a.m.
