On offer from the Utila Aggressor is wonderful seven day dining adventure departing from Utila Honduras. Our guests fly into San Pedro Sula and then board a small charter flight for the scenic 3o minute flight to Utila. Over the next week our guests will explore some of the most exciting dives around such as the sheer walls and wrecks surrounding the Island as well as the offshore sea mounts and banks, much of which are still to be explored.
Whale shark diving is one of the high points of the week and the Aggressor’s guests will have the opportunity to swim among these enormous creatures. The Utila Aggressor offers its guests some of the best diving around the Caribbean so be sure to book early as places are limited.
The 100ft Utila Aggressor was specifically designed for Diving and thus has everything you would expect catering for luxury and utility at the same time. Once the days dining is over guests can relax eating a fabulous dinner laid on by the chef as the vessel speeds to its next day diving location. Up to 14 guests and crew dive comfortably from this spacious adventure yacht, designed to dive!
The dive deck caters for the dive gear with lockers, rinse tanks and a camera table with low-pressure air hoses. There is a large swim platform with two warm freshwater showers, fin storage and water exit ladder. Nitrox is available on board for a one off extra fee of $ 100.
Onboard there are 5 deluxe staterooms with a double and single berth all with private heads and shower. The Quad stateroom has four single berths complete with a private head and shower. The Saloon has a entertainment centre with email and computer facilities, to aft there is a su deck with hot tub and wet bar and chaise lounges.
San Pedro Sula Airport is the pickup point for the guests and then they are transferred to the Utila charter flight planes for a scenic, 30 minute flight to Utila. Where you are then transferred to the yacht.
The chef will serve a delicious dinner followed by a Captains safety briefing, which outlines the week’s exciting schedule.
The dive fun begins with a dive briefing! This begins the week with fabulous diving near Blackish Point and Old House. All dives are conveniently made from the swim platform of the vessel. A skiff is available for any shore excursions that may take place. Most guests enjoy up to five dives each day—only stopping for one of the many super and scrumptious meals or between-dive snacks served aboard. Night dives are offered every evening, weather permitting.
Monday & Tuesday:
The journey continues north with a stop at the remote Coco’s Sea Mounts, where the ocean floor rises from hundreds of feet to only 40 feet from the surface. These sea mounts are far from Utila and Roatan, therefore, they are rarely visited by day boat divers. After exploring Coco’s, Utila Aggressor divers sample Roatan’s southwest and west end sites.
Wednesday & Thursday:
After diving Dolphin Caves, Roatan’s Taviana, and the Wreck of the Aguila, the Aggressor heads west to Utila.
The final dives of the week begin on Friday morning at Cannary Bank. After lunch on the Aggressor, it is time to rinse and pack dive gear and download photos. Any onboard charges, such as gear rental, dive courses, boutique purchases, are all settled on Friday.
At 1:00 p.m., the boat docks at Utila Water Sports. The crew hosts a 5:30 p.m. cocktail party. And then moves onto a shore based restaurant for farewell dinner. This meal is not catered for in the overall charter charges.
Check-out is at 8:00 a.m., guests are transferred to the Utila Airport for the charter flight to San Pedro Sula.
Itinerary may vary due to weather conditions and yacht location.
