Located on the longest, and arguably most beautiful beach on Lanta, is the Lanta Palm Beach Resort. The beach has 3km of pure white sand and is imaginatively called ‘Long Beach’; it is the home of many rustic beach bars and also has numerous restaurants and other resorts.
The Palm Beach resort nestles under the palms and provides the following facilities; restaurant and bar, laundry; the main office handles car and motorbike rental, shop, travel agent services for transfers, tickets, and local tours. Internet and international telephone and fax services as available. Beach massage can be arranged. The restaurant offers both European and Thai cuisine, and there are many alternative bars and restauirents in the immediate area, just a short walk away.

Diving Holiday:
As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development (Dive) Center Palm Beach offer a range of diving courses, complete dive packages and snorkelling.
The Dive Trips to the areas of Hin Daeng, Hin Muang ,Koh Ha, Koh Phi Phi and King cruiser wreck leave from the beach in front of the resort, these trip last the whole day and return late afternoon. The diving master will divide the groups according to each divers experience so that all have a perfect underwater experience. The dive masters all have experience in the areas being dived.
There are a rich formations of coral at the dive sites, which attracts a very varied population of sea life. You can expect to see large Giant Moray Eels, large Leopard and Grey Reef Sharks, high numbers of reef fish and a higher concentration of bigger fish such as Tuna, Barracudas, Rainbow Runners and Travellie.
A special attraction are the Manta Rays, if you are very lucky you may see more than ten of these huge and yet graceful giants.
If you visit in the period November to May you may see the other big attraction, Whale Sharks. Both single and groups of these gentle giants are occasional visitors.
