Belize Aggressor III

The Belize Aggressor III sets sail every Saturday for a week of super diving from Belize City. Its objective is the dives sites of the Lighthouse reefs and Turneffe wall diving. Marvellous attractions such as the Quebrada crimson sponges littering the reef and Half Moon Cave Wall or that of the Painted Wall await the explorer. If your luck is in then the a Blue Hole cave dive may be on the cards very dependent on weather so cross your fingers. During the week long dives starting on the Sunday morning and ending on the Friday you will be invited to join many an adventure. Checking out on the Saturday leaves you time to visit the City of Belize where many wonders of the Mayan empire are on display to enthral and thrill you, do make sure you book the tour for the Friday afternoon its worth every penny.

With five decks the Aggressor III is spacious and very comfortable, the crew will assist you with anything you require and make sure your gear is stowed and ready for use when you need it. Special Camera tables and rinse tanks and low pressure air hoses are all at your disposal.  Please be sure to order any Nitrox you may need there is a one of $100 charge for this service.

The nine deluxe staterooms have a mix of double and single births, all equipped with shower, TV/ DVD. For the honeymoon diving couples the upper deck hosts the “Premium Suite”.  The centre dining /classroom area opens up onto the  saloon is well equipped with email and internet facilities a super wet bar and hot tub with nice shady deck area with BBQ and lounge chairs.  

A sample itinerary for a week to remember could well be made up of:

Saturday:
The Radisson Fort George Hotel is your arrival point for early arrivals and hosted start for the day, from here you will be collected by the boat and your entire luggage transferred. If you have arrived in the  afternoon you will be picked up from the Belize City airport and transferred onto the Belize Aggressor III by coach. We set sail at 6pm with the arrival dinner in progress we will be steaming towards the first dive destination, after a hearty meal the Captain will bid you all welcome and go through the necessary safety briefings.

Sunday:
An early morning dive briefing and then the fun begins, as many as five dives a day may be chalked up as you explore the various environments on offer from the dive decks of the Aggressor III. Mealtimes are regular and scrumptious as the chef has not been idle while you have been away. Many types of dives are offered through the entire course of the week including night dives weather permitting. For the non divers among you there are wonderful snorkelling opportunities to be had.

Monday through to Thursday:
Throughout the week many diving places are visited including, The Blue Hole and Cathedral, The Elbow, Long Caye Ridge, Painted Wall, Elk Horn Forest. A midweek excursion where we will drop anchor and go ashore to the Half Moon Caye for a beach stroll to the bird sanctuary with the famous red-footed booby and frigate birds. There is an old lighthouse built in 1848 nearby which is a really good example of the type.

Friday:
The diving ends at 1.00pm, the Captain will escort you to the must do tour of the city and Cave Tubing, the Belize Zoo or Mayan Ruin explorations. After which you are all invited to the leaving cocktail party at 6pm and then onto a restaurant for a final farewell meal. (This is the only meal not incorporated in the charter cost).

Saturday:
Brings checkout day which is early at 8am to allow for transfers to Belize city or the airport.  Due to weather conditions it should be noted that the itinerary may vary.
