If you are looking for a lush green Island in the Caribbean then look no further, the Island of Cocos is 300 miles off of Costa Rica;s Pacific coastline was made for you. The diving available around the Island with its underwater rocky pinnacles are beacons for many marine creatures including  white-tip sharks, mantas, tuna and even whale sharks all call Cocos home. Weather permitting the Aggressor’s guests are taken ashore as regularly as possible to venture in the jungle and waterfalls of the Island.

The eight day charter from Saturday to Sunday is coupled with five days of diving and the longer ten day charter from Tuesday to Friday have seven days worth of diving weather permitting.  The adventure begins from the port town of  Punteranas after being transferred from San Jose, please note an overnight stay may well be needed prior to the start of the charter.
  
The Okeanos Aggressor has nine deluxe staterooms complete with a double and single birth, all have private heads with showers TV and DVD. The Quad stateroom has two double beds and two single bunks, also with a private head, shower and TV/DVD.

The saloon complete with entertainment centre TV, DVD and CD-player Over the stern we discover a hot tub with wet bar a small partially covered sun deck with loungers. On the roomy dive deck are personal gear lockers, rinse tanks and a camera table with low pressure air hoses. Nitrox is available on board for an one off extra fee of $ 100

A Sample week Itinerary - Eight Day and Ten Day Charters


The Okeanos Aggressor offers two really exiting itineraries, both depart from the western coast port town of Puntarenas. The eight-day charters are from Saturday to Sunday with five days of diving and ten-day trips are Tuesday to Friday with seven days of diving. All transfers are provided from the Alta Hotel and Marriott Courtyard in San Jose on the day of departure. 

Once aboard, the 300 mile journey to the island of Cocos begins. Dolphins and whales often escort the Aggressor on the short voyage, which takes approximately 30 hours. The trip gives divers plenty of time to prepare their gear, make sure of the safety aspects of each dive and dream of the magnificent creatures awaiting their arrival!

Throughout the week, you will dive from roomy dive tenders that are hung from the derricks. Most dive sites have mild currents. Between dives, the chef will treat you to scrumptious local and international cuisine. If conditions permit, guests are shuttled to the island for a land hike and swim in one of the lush island’s many waterfalls.

Checkout time is 7:30 a.m. on the morning of departure. After arriving back on the mainland, the crew will transfer you and your luggage with the group to one of the host hotels in San Jose and the airport.

Guests will arrive in San Jose late morning; therefore, departing flights should be scheduled after 12:30 p.m.
