Many expert divers believe that the dive sites of the South Ari Atoll is the best in the Maldives. Some of our spots such as Kudarah Thila, Five rocks, Fish head and Broken Rock are world famous for their coral and fish life and are listed inside the TOP TEN diving sites in the world.

These famous thilas and many more, less known but easily as good or even better are located in the Dhangetti channel just 60 minutes to the easy. On a full day excursion with the comfortable yet fast dive boats even the amazing North Ari Atoll can be reached, e.g. “Maaya Thila”, and “malhoos Thila” (blue caves)

However you will not have to travel far for excellent and unique diving holiday:

Probably the Manta dive side in the Maldives for example, “Madivaru” (Translated Manta Reef) lies within 15 minutes from the island and from the island and from December to April. During this time close and personal encounters are with these gentle giants are almost a guarantee. Less than an hour away there is a unique spot that no one except our Ocean pro Mirihi dives have the privilege of pioneering.

The Machafushi Wreck is yet another highlight which again is less than an hour away. Sunk deliberately many years ago it is since been covered in both hard and soft corals and again features an amazing array of different fish, ranging from lionfish to nurse sharks and turtles. Even if you do not like wrecks, we are sure you will love this one.

Last but by no means least is the southern outside reeds which are famous for frequent whale shark sightings all year around. They are within easy reach and the dive centre will frequently organizes 2-tank excursions to these sites.
And to all of that the house reef has its own small wreck, beautiful coral as well as a fantastic array of fish, this is a great alternative to the dive boats and excursions. We have had divers who have spent their entire holiday at just the house reef.
