Scuba Diving with the Ocean-Pro divers all visitors can enjoy the variety of 20 local dive sites, suitable for beginners to more experienced divers. The sites include thrilling thilas (large coral structures), outside reef sites and channel dives.

Rasdhoo Atoll:

You can dive all of Rasdhoo Atoll, from North to South and East to West, and with only one other resort nearby, Ocean-Pro divers will generally have the luxury of being the only divers on site!

Mantas:

In the small Rasdhoo Atoll there is no specific season for the mantas and you have the chance to see them on various dive sites throughout the year. There is usually a higher concentration of mantas in the months of December and March.

Sharks:

Grey reef sharks can be seen at Madivaru Corner and Kuramathi Thila, the best time being around February. White Tip Reef sharks can be seen on almost every dive, and the sighting of grown black tips is common. A big highlight is the "Big Blue" where you have a good chance year-round to see hammerhead sharks!

Experienced divers can dive the house reef independently in buddy teams, although guided dives are available upon request. On the inner West side, you rarely have current so it is a nice spot for an easygoing night dive, where you can see moray eels, a few lobster, and always present is a big school of barracuda. This location is perfect for beginners wishing to enjoy diving independently in buddy teams.

The second House Reef entry point is as the south side of the island, easy going but needs a little knowledge of navigation. Eagle rays, and occasionally black tip reef sharks, with turtles and octopi are regularly seen. The jetty has large schools of batfish and jacks all the time.

The east side of the house reef is open to the ocean current so divers should be aware. If you can handle the currents is a good chance to see many types of fish here, eagle rays, white and black tip sharks, big napoleon, stingrays, octopuses and all types of adult and juvenile reef fish.

Inside the lagoon it is well protected and seldom has strong currents, making it an ideal location for training dives. The water is usually clear and with the house reef nearby there is plenty for the students to see immediately after the course.
