Wadi Lahmy Azur Hotel is one of the red seas southern most beach spots within Egypt, sitting directly north of Ras Banas which houses a harbor to the ancient town of Berenice dating back more than 2000 years. Our primary resorts restaurant offers breakfast, open buffet lunch and dinner with a variety of international dishes.

Continental breakfast is served between 5:00am till 7:00am. Between 7:00am and 11:00am a breakfast buffet is offered with a corner for omelettes.
Dinner:
Every night is a different theme, from Egyptian to Mexican serving daily from 7:00pm to 11:00pm. Reservations not required
Beach Restaurant :
An open buffet lunch is served between 12:30pm and 3:30pm. Between 3:30pm and 6:30 pm it also serves light snacks.

Diving Holidays:
Whether night or day our house reef is full of surprises. A sand spit stretches from the southern shore. Covered in coral spires will offer an amazing habitat of fish. Larger fish cruise amongst the pinnacles and the sand supports black and blue spotted stingray as well as crocodile fish. With the naturally formed pinnacles of coral, it leaves endless possibilities for overhangs and caves to explore.
The aquatic life ranges from tiny little anthias to huge grouper. Invertebrates like cuttlefish, squid and octopi can also be seen.
Many divers treat the site as an optional extra if they have energy left after scuba diving at Rocky island, we believe this undervalues a magnificent and charming dive site.
Boat dives:
The Orca dive club Wadi Lahmy Azur/ Hamata is one of the southernmost dive clubs in Egypt. This facility is now used to explore the previously un-charted south. Famous reefs such as Shaab Maksu, Shaab Claudio, Shaab Sataya and Abu Diab are easily accessible via boat.
Our resort lies 5km south of a the small town of Hamata and. The dive club organizes a free shuttle to the jetty (transfer time 5mins). Here you will find a fleet of 3 hard dive boats which the Orca club Wadi Lahmy Azur/Hamata uses. The highly experienced crew who have been working with dive center for years guarantee to keep you safe and comfortable at all dive sites. All boats have the necessary safety equipment complying with international standards. You can find oxygen, first aid kits, VHF marine radio, life jackets and communication and navigation aids. Available tank sizes are 8,10,12 and 15ltr all with DIN/INT connection. Nitrox (32%) diving has risen in popularity due to safety, as safety first is the Orca Dive Clubs philosophy we offer
Nitrox at no extra charge. Other EAN mixtures are available on request for a small charge.
